Hot Shot Trucking in Arkansas Will Benefit From New Interstate 57

Encouraging news for hot shot trucking, our national freight network, and the trucking sector, in general, comes from Arkansas as approval to designate U.S. 67 as the 'Future I-57' has been forwarded. According to reports the Fiscal Year 2017 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development funding bill sees the state positioning to add a new interstate.

In what will be a major benefit to trucking in the region, U.S. Senator John Boozman of Arkansas said:

Hot Shot Trucking Arkansas"Arkansas has worked for decades to build this road. The time has come to start calling it what it is an interstate-quality highway that connects Arkansas farms, factories, and travelers, to the rest of our country. New interstates take many years and support from the federal, state and local level to complete. As we work over the coming years to build future interstates in Arkansas, such as I-49, I-69, and a completed I-57, we will make Arkansas a better-connected state that is open for business."

The route would see the designation of Highway 67 from Walnut Ridge through to North Little Rock as the future Interstate. This construction and transformation will see a direct interstate option from the Little Rock region to Chicago as "Interstate 57". Great news for trucking, commerce and trade for Arkansas and the entire region.
